End of story.
Life can be wonderful and challenging in equal measure—and you don't have to navigate the hard parts alone. Together, we'll work to help you feel more connected: to yourself, to others, and to the life you want to be living.
Trauma, loss, major life transitions—these experiences can fundamentally shift how we see ourselves and move through the world. When we're trying to protect ourselves from more pain, we can end up closing off the parts of us that are open to joy, connection or new experiences.
Therapy helps reconnect you to those distant parts of yourself, restoring access to the full range of who you are and what you're capable of.
Helping young people navigate big feelings, anxiety, social challenges, family transitions, and the everyday pressures of growing up.
Adjusting to life in a new country, processing isolation and wrestling with questions of belonging and identity.
Navigating grief, identity changes, isolation, and the ongoing work of living with uncertainty and physical limitation.
Grieving someone or something after a loss can be a heavy load to bear. Grief doesn't adhere to schedules and there can be many conflicting emotions at play, or a feeling a needing to "be strong" for others around you.
Whether that's pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, infertility, pregnancy loss, or choosing not to have children. I work with the identity shifts, grief, anxiety, overwhelming demands, and complicated feelings that can accompany these experiences.
My practice operates on a private-pay basis. Clients are responsible for the full session fee at the time of service. I can provide detailed receipts (superbills) that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan offers that benefit.
Working privately means:
• No need for insurance referrals or pre-authorization
• No diagnoses or treatment details shared with insurance companies unless desired
• Flexible session length and frequency tailored to your needs
• Our time focused on your care, not insurance requirements
The consult call will provide us with 30 minutes to get to know each other over Zoom and see if we might be a good fit for therapy. There is absolutely no pressure to book at the end of the call. We will hang up and I'll let you decide if you want to move forward with scheduling a first session with me.
I will set up a client account for you on the platform I use for Telehealth called SimplePractice. You will then receive forms via email to read and e-sign. These forms are an acknowledgment of my policies (scheduling, payment, and cancellation), consent to participate in therapy or coaching services, and an authorization to charge your credit card. Once you have emailed these forms back to me, we will be able to schedule our first session.
This session is a more in depth "getting to know you" to help us get started. I like to think of therapy like you've invited me over to your metaphorical home. What are the "house rules", how many rooms are there and what's in them, should I take my shoes off before coming inside? We may not make it to the scary basement on the first day, but that's okay. This session is all about starting the tour and beginning to explore the house together.
SimplePractice is a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform designed specifically for healthcare providers. All video sessions and client information are encrypted and secured to protect your privacy in accordance with federal healthcare privacy laws.
I maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy to protect both my client's time and mine, and to ensure fair treatment and scheduling access for all clients. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee.
If you need to cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours notice, I'm happy to work with you to find another time —or we can arrange a telehealth session if meeting in person is no longer possible.
I currently offer 45-minute sessions for $175 and 1 hour sessions for $200. My sliding-scale client spots are all currently full.
You'll keep a credit card on file with SimplePractice (my telehealth platform), which will be charged automatically after each session.
