I hope this page helps you see if we'd be a good fit.
My journey to therapy actually started in a dance studio. I was working as a teaching artist and performer when one of my students—a boy on the autism spectrum—joined my class at his therapist's suggestion.
Watching him open up and grow through creative expression was incredible. That's when it clicked for me: the arts and therapy together were something powerful, something I needed to understand more deeply. The next fall, I enrolled at New York University for my master's degree.
Now this is what I do.
My clinical training has taken me into some of the most challenging healthcare settings at leading hospitals like NYU Langone Health, Hackensack Meridian Health, and the Veterans Association Hospital of New York. I've worked in neonatal ICUs, pediatric cancer units, and children's surgical wards—places where families face unimaginable stress and need every bit of support we can offer.
I also created and performed original therapeutic programming through a closed-circuit TV station for hospitalized kids, bringing moments of joy and connection to children who couldn't leave their rooms. The TV station work took on new meaning during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it became a genuine lifeline for isolated patients of all ages.
I began my private practice in 2021 and haven't looked back. The opportunity for deeper therapeutic relationships and greater flexibility has made all the difference in how I practice.
I am certified as:
I hold a Master's degree from New York University and maintain multiple specialized credentials that together reflect 2.5 years of graduate education, over 3,600 hours of supervised clinical practice across diverse populations and settings, successful completion of multiple national certification exams, and ongoing commitment to professional standards and continuing education to maintain credentials.
As a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) in New York State, I completed 1,500 hours of supervised post-graduate clinical experience, including at least 750 hours of direct client contact, 100 hours of supervision, and passed a comprehensive examination demonstrating competency in assessment, treatment planning, ethics, and therapeutic practice.
My registration as a Drama Therapist (RDT) through the North American Drama Therapy Association required graduate-level training, 1,500 hours of direct client contact under qualified supervision, and successful completion of the RDT credentialing exam—demonstrating specialized expertise in using drama and theater processes therapeutically.
As a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS), I completed additional academic coursework in child development, family systems, and pediatric healthcare, along with a 600-hour clinical internship and passed the Child Life Certification Examination. This credential reflects specialized training in supporting children and families through medical experiences, developmental challenges, and life transitions.
